Green Screen Wizard is a self contained software package that will let you replace the green in a photograph with the background of your choice. Normally a person’s photo is taken in front of a Green Screen.
This is called the foreground image and would look like this:
The idea is to combine it with a background images like the flag shown here:
Green Screen Wizard will combine the two. Like other Green Screen removal programs it uses sophisticated algorithms to remove the green where it shows through and replaces it with pixels from the background. Sometimes the green color will not shine though the image but will “spill over” onto the image giving the image a green cast. This cast is removed automatically by Green Screen Wizard. Green Screen Wizard goes a step further and integrates the background with the foreground in a process called “Reality Integration”. Other systems can make the person in the foreground looked “Cut out and pasted on” rather then being part of a natural looking photograph.
Green Screen Wizard is a full system, not a plug in that requires other software to function. To make the photo look real the foreground and background have to match in brightness, size, and color. So in addition to providing the green screen replacement features the program can perform the following image manipulations:
- Brightness and Contrast
- Color Balance
- Cropping and Scaling
- Rotation
